I can't believe you're still at it. A transverse 4 pot will never be a longitudinal v6, no matter how much you sculpt that plastic. Courtesy of KIA

But those fake vents are crucial to the cooling of the engine!

Hyundai is guilty of this, too.

Some of us can't do that :( …. air filters are placed into it.

so its at least pointed the right direction then. and I see only 4 "intake runners" molded in, not bad.

Cone filter?
That's lame.

Not a cone filter but still lame, the filters are in each back rectangle area. So if you want to ditch the cover you have to buy a CAI.

I did not word that well. I was asking if you could just use cone filters instead?
What car is that anyway? Are those Chrysler wings?

That's what I thought it was. Just wanted to confirm.
I always thought those were neat cars. I know they aren't really all that great to drive, but at least when I see one it's different than everything else on the road.

I know its no Miata, but my I think its pretty great to drive. My last car was a SC400 and its a way better drivers car than that was. Stiff chassis, stiff suspension, wide tires, low(ish) weight. Yea the steering is vague buts it accurate. and with a fuse pulled the traction control is defeat able, so I have dabs of oppo whenever I want.
I'm happy with it obviously.

I didn't mean to imply that there weren't any redeeming qualities. It's based on the CLK afterall, it can't be that bad. These could even be had with a manual, correct?
It is at least RWD, and I bet that some bushing upgrades might help with the steering some.
I will have to try and drive one at some point in my life.

The SLK actually, but yea you could get them with a manual (sadly mine isn't). A test drive never hurt anyone, andI think they are pretty good used deals now too. Also a photo from last night just because.

I sent you an email - and an invite. Let me know if you have received either. (I'm being intentionally vague).
